Amazon Boat Ecolodge – An Authentic Amazon Rainforest Experience

The Amazon Boat Ecolodge program was carefully designed for travelers seeking to experience the Amazon rainforest in a safe and affordable.. This journey takes place far from the conventional tourist routes commonly offered by local agencies.

The Amazon Boat Ecolodge project offers a unique way to explore the Amazon, providing close contact with nature, wildlife, rivers, and untouched landscapes. Our routes avoid crowded tourist areas and focus on preserved regions that remain largely unexplored by mass tourism.

Each journey is created to foster a genuine connection with the Amazon rainforest, allowing travelers to experience its rhythm, biodiversity, and local way of life. An ideal experience for those looking for a deeper, more meaningful, and unforgettable Amazon adventure.

About the Amazon Boat Eco-Lodge. The Amazon Boat Eco-Lodge is a typical Amazonian boat, fully equipped with all the comforts, a full kitchen, a bathroom, a leisure area with showers, a washing machine, a rest area, and a hammock area for overnight stays. This entire area is protected against mosquitoes.

The boat has lounge chairs, chairs, and tables, a marine radio, a power generator, life jackets, a first aid kit, amateur fishing equipment, and paddle and motor canoes for jungle activities.

Accommodation options on the Amazon Boat Eco-Lodge: On the upper deck of the boat, we have an area protected with mosquito netting where we use hammocks. Below, we have (3) full-size or double cabins, each with a double bed and a single bed, each cabin with its own bathroom and air conditioning. The ship has an ecological waste box.

THE AREA WHERE OUR BASE IS LOCATED, AMAZON BOAT ECO-LODGE.

The Amazon Boat Eco-Lodge is located in the Piranha Lake Sustainable Development Reserve (RDS), on the Amazon River.

The AMAZON BOAT ECO-LODGE is strategically located on the Amazon River, between two Amazonian ecosystems: the Amazon River and the Manacapuru River. On the right bank, we find the Manacapuru River with dark waters (not dark, but with a color like Coca-Cola or tea), abundant jungle, solid ground where we hike through the jungle, and where we camp in the jungle because there are very few mosquitoes. There is abundant flora, many large trees, and medicinal plants. Very good for long walks, trekking, flora observation, etc.

On the left side, we have the Piranha Sustainable Development Reserve (RDS), which belongs to the Amazon River, with its brown waters. This area is where we explore the fauna, fishing for piranhas and other Amazonian fish; observing caimans at night; birdwatching, sloth watching, and monkey watching; exploring the flooded forest (from February to the end of July); seeing water lilies; spear fishing; fishing with the natives using traditional methods (arrow, harpoons, and nets); visiting native homes to see how they live and floating villages.

Within the Piranha Reserve, it is possible to observe large caimans, in large numbers, reaching up to 6 meters in length. The Piranha Reserve (RDS) is known as an Amazonian migration site, where birds come from other parts of Brazil and Latin America, meaning there is a lot of wildlife in the reserve.
