At our jungle tower, which also has private rooms, you will have spectacular panoramic views of the jungle and the river, the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful sunset and listen to the sounds of the jungle. We organize individual and group tours. Contact us for more detailed information about the availability, possibilities and price for our packages.

We offer tour of 3 days, 4 days o 5 days jungle tour.

This tour makes a big difference, because it's done 200 km North East of Manaus into the decent Amazon rainforest at the Urubu river area. This river has dark water like the Rio Negro, resulting from organic acids released by the decomposition of organic matters which kills bacteria and other parasites in the water and the lack of terrestrial sediments which makes it safe for swimming, and the area has far less mosquitoes. The Urubu river starts in Presidente Figueiredo and runs for many km's before reaching the Amazon River. Via the Urubu river we travel up stream by motorized canoe to our ecological lodge on the riverside, just behind the lodge the jungle starts. The canopy tower has a fantastic view over the jungle and river. You can enjoy this view in relaxing chairs at the top floor of the tower. It's possible to sleep in one of the comfortable rooms of the tower with your private balcony. Our lodge has private rooms with toilet and shower.

The lodge has a bungalow for guests who prefer to stay in hammocks, with lockers to put your belongings and shared toilets and showers. The veranda of the bungalow has a river view. Just using a hammock on the veranda, to enjoy the view, see the stars at night and listen to the sounds of the nature is also an opportunity. The river is good for swimming in this nice warm water. All the meals are included and prepared by a specialized native cook, based on regional traditions and local dishes. Our native guides (all English speaking and a bit of Spanish and French) are enthusiastic to show you what this beautiful place has to offer. You will experience the "caboclos" way of living! (Native people of the region)

There are many options for tours. Our company doesn’t have a fixed day by day program because we think that’s the best way to do it. All tours are done in the most flexible manner to suit the needs of our clients. Starting from 2 days, up to as many as you want.

To give you an idea about a tour, see an example of a 4 day and 3 night’s package:

For those ones who don’t have much time, don’t worry. There are shorter tours (2 days – 1 night, 3 days – 2 nights, 4 days – 3 nights) where you get an impression of the jungle. Of course if you have more time, you can go deeper into the jungle for more days and nights which gives you more chance of seeing wildlife plus getting a real feeling with the jungle! The tours are all flexible so contact us to plan a tour which fit with your plans!

Day one: 07:00am, departure by car or van from your hotel in Manaus, transfer to the bus station. Here we take a comfortable air-conditioned bus to a little village called Lindoa, about 3 hours driving with a 10 minute stop halfway. After arriving at Lindoa village we travel by speed boat for one hour to our ecological lodge on the Urubu river bank. Arriving at the lodge, the guide will make an introduction of the lodge and show you your room or set up your hammock. You have some time for a swim from our floating sundeck in front of the lodge or walking in a path through the jungle by yourself. In the meantime the cook will prepare the lunch. After having lunch you will have some time to try out your bed or hammocks before we go on a canoe trip through the narrow channels and the flooded forest. Later we will go fishing for dinner. This can be piranhas but also other fishes of the region, depends on the season. Back in the lodge the cook will prepare dinner with our freshly caught fish. In the night we will go back on the canoe trying to find alligators (caimans). The guide will try to catch one to give you explanation and afterwards put it back into the water. Return to the lodge.

Day two: Early morning start with a canoe trip to go bird watching, dolphin spotting (grey and pink) and see the beautiful sunrise. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast a jungle walk to try to find monkeys and learn about the medicinal plants and trees. Return back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we will prepare for our overnight stay in the jungle. We leave for a beautiful walk through the jungle with many very big trees. Just taking a little backpack with our hammock and the guide will find a place in the jungle where we can make a camp. The guide will explain about how to survive in the jungle. If you want you can help to make your own plate and wooden spoon. After dinner relax with the spectacular sounds of the jungle and see the fireflies fly around.

Day three: We wake early in the morning with the sounds of the birds, having breakfast and afterwards trying to find some animals of the jungle, learning more about the jungle with the explanation of our experienced guide who teaches you how you can extract many things from the forest without destroying it. The guide will make lunch in the jungle. After lunch we prepare ourselves for the walk back to the lodge where we will arrive in the end of the afternoon. At the lodge there is some time for relaxing, having a swim or take a canoe and have the experience to paddle by yourself. Then we will have diner, after we will try to go spear fishing (depending on the season). You can sleep in the lodge but there is also a possibility to sleep overnight at the beach on the river side, where we can make a campfire or sleep above the water in a hammock where you can see the reflection of the trees in the water, depending on the season (dry/wet season).

Day four: Breakfast and visit a native (Caboclo) family, to see how they live in the jungle and learn about the Mandioca (cassava) process. You will make some authentic Indian handicrafts together with your guide. This you can take home as a souvenir. After lunch we will start our journey back to Manaus, arriving around 5:00pm at the bus-station. You will be back by car or van at your hotel around 5.30pm.
